About the creative process
This project was created using AI image generation tools, including Midjourney and Topaz Gigapixel for upscale refinement. Each visual artifact began as a prompt-based exploration of speculative forms rooted in biological structures and ritual symbolism. The creative process involved iterative prompting, image refinement, and compositional curation, anchored in a consistent prompt logic with only minor adjustments made to explore compositional or textural variations, to preserve a unified aesthetic and conceptual voice across the series.
Rather than aiming for realism or narrative linearity, the series embraces ambiguity and intuitive resonance. The forms were intentionally designed to resemble hybrid totems-part anatomical, part ceremonial-suggesting a visual language of a forgotten culture or spiritual system. The project also draws on alchemical imagery, dream logic, and natural decay as metaphors for inner transformation.
By using AI not merely as a tool but as a conceptual collaborator, the series explores what it means to create mythic imagery in a post-human visual context. The result is a speculative archive of ritual objects from a world that never existed, but perhaps once was imagined.
